Handwriting robot works precisely, quietly and fail-safe thanks to dry-tech components

On behalf of Simply Noted, the US engineering firm Spline Product Development has realised a handwriting robot that is able to write cards in human handwriting to give messages a more personal touch. At the heart of the robot are our lubrication-free and maintenance-free linear guides and lead screws in the xy-axis, which ensure quiet operation, very high accuracy and reliability.

Low-vibration energy chain for high print quality in large format printers

Almost anything can be printed with the "Virtu" large format printer: sheet metal, films, textiles, wood, glass and, of course, paper up to 3.5 metres wide. A print head moves over the medium to be printed at up to three metres per second. As any vibration would impair the print image, our smooth-running and quiet E6 energy chain is used.

Our xiros ball bearings are used in the conveyor roller of the adhesive seal printer of a well-known manufacturer in the field of pioneering adhesive solutions. They are half the price and available more quickly than the ball bearing previously used. Maintenance-free lead screw technology in book scanners

In a book scanner for digitalisation of cultural assets, lubrication-free drylin trapezoidal lead screw nuts are used in combination with metallic thread inserts. The nuts are custom-made from our wear-resistant material iglidur W300 and score points for being absolutely lubrication-free and maintenance-free.
