As a result, the number of different drivers in the same car is also growing so that seats are being adjusted more than ever before. This is also a reason for the increasing use of electric seat adjustment using actuators and compact motors.
Backrest adjustment—manual or electric—is standard in vehicles, ensuring comfort and safety. Modern seat designs prioritize noise and weight reduction, lubricant-free operation, and durability. igus iglidur plain bearings meet these needs with low friction and wear, requiring no lubrication.
