Test setup: CFROBOT8.PLUS bus cable

In this test, the life expectancy of the CFROBOT8.PLUS bus cable with a torsion of +/- 360 °/ m in a triflex® R was to be analysed.

Camera-based robot applications are often used in industry, for example to recognise barcodes or carry out quality assurance. However, this application is also used in television studios. Here it is particularly important that an extremely reliable power and data supply is provided and that very demanding movements can be carried out.

The test has shown that the expected service life of the CFROBOT8.PLUS.045 can withstand 15 million cycles and can therefore reliably transmit data even with precise, multi-dimensional movements.
