New slewing ring bearing products

With the iglidur® PRT-05-94-PC, igus is expanding the proven low-cost slewing ring series with a larger installation size and thus responding to the requirements of many users. The slewing ring bearing made of solid plastic offers durable, lightweight slewing ring ball bearings and impresses with a simplified design consisting of only two components. This makes the bearing ideal for applications where higher loads and a large diameter are required. By being manufactured from at least 75% regranulate, the PRT-05-94-PC supports the sustainable use of resources and fulfils modern requirements for environmental friendliness. Tested in the in-house igus laboratory, the bearing demonstrates a high load capacity, particularly with axial load support, and is therefore ideal for panelling, control panels or display adjustments where robustness and durability are paramount.

The new iglidur® PRT-02-20-AL-DRI enables simple and reliable installation. Thanks to the integrated spacer ring, the slewing ring bearing can be mounted directly and flush on flat surfaces - without any additional undercuts or cut-outs. This reduces machining work and simplifies installation. The bearing is based on the proven PRT-04 design with spacer ring and is available in various sizes so that it can be used flexibly in different applications. The lubrication-free plain bearing technology ensures maintenance-free operation and contributes to a resource-saving and clean solution.

With the iglidur® PRT-02-20-AL-CP, igus is launching a very space-saving, strong and lightweight solution for confined installation conditions. As a low-cost alternative to the PRT-04-CP, the PRT-02-AL-CP enables savings without sacrificing performance. In addition, the bearing requires no lubricant, which not only saves resources but also makes a positive contribution to the environment. The PRT-02-AL-CP combines a space-saving design, sustainability and reliability - ideal for applications where space is limited and high load capacity is required at the same time.

Stop-dogs now customisable
The PRT-05-15-PC-TS-360 consists of injection-moulded components that can be manufactured cost-effectively and assembled easily. The simple design ensures a strong yet lightweight construction. The integrated angle stop with stop-dog allows rotational movements of up to 360° as standard and can be customised upon request. For the materials, iglidur P4 and iglidur M260 were selected as they showed the best performance in the test and offer a long service life.

The PRT-04-CP is the compact version of our high-performer PRT-04. This product is 60% lighter, offers 50% more space savings and is 20% more cost-effective compared to the PRT-01. It has universal sliding elements made of iglidur J and an extensive modular system. The new space-saving version was specially developed for limited installation space.

Rotational movements over 360° possible
The PRT-04-TS-360 makes it possible to quickly and individually adjust the stop-dog to prevent rotation of the PRT slewing ring bearing at defined points. A new feature is that the stop-dog can be implemented over 360° and can even be extended up to 720° upon request.

PTFE-free all-rounder
The iglidur slewing ring bearing PRT-04 with aluminium housing and iglidur® JPF sliding elements contains no PTFE.

PRT-06-100: Up to 85% more cost-effective compared to the PRT-04
The new PRT slewing ring bearing is particularly lightweight, flat and cost-effective compared to the rest of our PRT series. At just 8 mm, it is also only half as high as the slewing ring bearing in the PRT-04 series.

Adjustment lever in two versions: 90 degrees and 45 degrees

The PRT adjustment lever for the PRT-04 slewing ring bearing series enables simple adjustment by 45 or 90 degrees. The modular system of the PRT-04 series allows uncomplicated expansion with various accessories and offers a customised solution for a wide range of applications.

Suitable for PRT-type -04, also for retrofitting

The PRT clamping lever for the PRT-04 slewing ring bearing series enables a simple manual clamp and consists of a clamping lever and an aluminium block. The modular system of the PRT-04 series allows uncomplicated expansion with various accessories and offers a customised solution for a wide range of applications.

Tooth profile: AT10, HTD5M, T10 - anodised aluminium

The PRT tooth profile for the slewing ring bearing series PRT-04 is available in the tooth types AT10, HTD5M, T10. The attachment is also suitable for retrofitting to existing PRT-04 slewing ring ball bearings.
