Lead screw linear modules with round shafts

The linear systems of the drylin® SHT series can be moved lubrication-free, while also offering high precision and robust components. The linear module with lead screw drive is individually configurable with different shaft and lead screw materials, carriage lengths and additional functions. In addition to manual operation, drylin® E lead screw stepper motors enable motorised drive of the linear axes.

Testing device ready for series production thanks to igus

With this device it is possible to test welds for their quality. In igus drive technology, a drylin SHT linear unit is used here as standard, which enables the adjustment of a bending die. As a result, bending specimens with a maximum force of up to 5,000N are conceivable. "Munsch Kunststoff-Schweißtechnik GmbH" relies on a complete solution with electric drive in the form of a gear motor.

Industrial vehicles with special tasks

Jungheinrich AG, a manufacturer of industrial vehicles, developed a low-platform truck for a large-scale Scandinavian dairy, which collects trolleys that can be inserted into each other. The aim is to bring the trolleys to a washing facility. Instead of two usual forks for receiving pallets, just one fork is used here. It is controlled by a specially developed multifunction controller.

Carriage clamping

All long linear carriages can be ordered with an integrated carriage clamping system.
The system protects against unintentional adjustment and secures the linear carriage in place when non-self-locking high helix threads are used.
