Forklift blades
Plates and round bars made from a variety of sliding plastics. Entirely free of maintenance and lubrication and highly wear-resistant.

Mast
igus® chainflex® cables are guided with rollers in the mast: For increased tensile strength and very small bend radii, these are ideal to use.

Steering column bearing, pedal
Plain bearings for high loads (up to 250MPa) with high wear resistance. No lubrication or maintenance, vibration-dampening.

Headrests
A wide variety of profile rail guides with defined locking points (optional). Lightweight with exact re-positioning.

Chain-suitable chainflex cables in mast

EK-X-series vertical order pickers approach pallets in the narrow lanes of a high-bay warehouse, and the driver removes individual boxes. But over time, the order picker cables, which reach heights of up to twelve meters, became twisted. So today the customer uses our chainflex cables with cores wound in bundles and a special jacket that minimises the forces arising in the cable and retains the structure.

Cabin door guided reliably with linear rails

This forklift is subjected to shock and vibration on a daily basis. In the past, this meant that the sliding door guide jammed, so the door could no longer be moved. The old guide was therefore exchanged for two drylin linear guides. They now keep the door stable and ensure smooth sliding during opening and closing. The robust material easily absorbs shocks and vibration.

Maintenance-free bearings in the lifting mechanism

This forklift now works reliably. Previously, the lifting mechanism failed constantly because the bronze bearings became clogged with dirt. Great maintenance effort was required because the bearings had to be lubricated. Now that the bronze bearings have been replaced with our iglidur G plain bearings, the mechanism works without malfunction. Since the bearings are lubrication-free, maintenance-related downtimes have also been reduced.

This tipping device, which is mounted on the forklift, is used to empty large collecting containers. Since it is mainly used in processing fruit, the bearings are exposed to moisture. Metallic bearings could not be used because they are susceptible to corrosion and require lubricant. So only lubrication-free, maintenance-free iglidur plain bearings were used.
