And when high-quality goods are involved, they deserve a high-quality presentation. Roose Automation has designed and developed the ChocoMatic, a modern display system for the finest chocolates including an appealing vending machine function.
The robot packs the customer's individual selection of chocolates and turns it into a special shopping experience. What was needed was a FDA-compliant robot that gently picks the chocolates that could support both a camera and energy chain management, all whilst being affordable.

The challenge

To round off this shopping experience, all components must be both functional and visually appealing. This requires a smooth-running robot arm that packs the large selection of pralines in compliance with the FDA. Of course, such a robot can only be lubrication-free. In addition, due to the autonomous and decentralised sales process, the maintenance-free feature is urgently required.

The solution

A vending machine equipped with a robolink RL-DC and a 7th axis. The smooth movements of the robot make the shopping process look even more premium, while also paying off in terms of the customer's perceived product quality. The entire shopping process promises an even greater pleasure in the final product "chocolate praline".
