iglidur® Tribo-Tape V400 solves wear problems

To reduce the wear on its milling machine, the manufacturer relies on iglidur® Tribo-Tape made of the material iglidur® V400. With minimal interventions on the machine, this was an extremely economical solution that has now been running without failure for a year.
In addition to the wear resistance, iglidur® V400 impresses with a temperature resistance up to +200 C and a high media resistance.

Extreme wear resistance compared to standard materials
The film materials were able to prove their high wear resistance in the company's own 2,750 square metre test laboratory. In a wear test against a stainless steel pin, all four Tribo-Tapes performed up to 10 times better than PTFE glass fabric and PTFE bronze compounds. The materials are also low-abrasion, lubricant-free and maintenance-free.

The ease of processing - cutting to size is possible using scissors - and the optional self-adhesive backing of Tribo-Tape result in almost unlimited application possibilities.
