motor cables without a protective earth conductor (PE) are often used when the protective earth conductor is to be installed by other means. igus® now offers the CF38.O.PE series in order to be able to offer a solution for the energy chain to meet these electrical requirements of the market.
The halogen-free high-end cables of the CF38 cable series have a TPE jacket material, which makes them extremely resistant to mechanical loads such as small radii in the energy chain and external influences such as extremely low temperatures down to -35° C. With this new product, we are not only expanding the CF38 family, but also replacing the discontinued model of the CF35.UL. This means that the predecessor products can be replaced completely without any problems. The new high-end motor cable CF38.O.PE with TPE outer jacket has UL approval and a guaranteed extended service life of +25 %.
