chainflex® dispenses with PTFE
A ban on PFAS was already being discussed at EU level at the beginning of 2023, as the substances do not decompose naturally and are therefore permanently found in the environment as "eternal chemicals". This chemical, which also includes PTFE, is not used in chainflex® cable. The new logo confirms the absence of PTFE in igus® chainflex® cable. Should a general ban be announced, no chainflex® cables will have to be disposed of or replaced and can continue to be used worldwide without any concerns.
