Noise comparison: E61.29 is the favourite for particularly quiet operation

Loudness test with E6

The volume of machines is becoming increasingly important in many industries. Individual machine elements, including energy chains, for example, are also selected with this aspect in mind. For this reason, igus® has now tested which e-chain® from the E6.29 and E61.29 series are most suitable for noise-sensitive applications.

Both chains were moved by the tester at 1, 2, 4 and 6 metres per second using an electronic clock via headphones.

6m/s : 57 db(A)

Result:

Compared to the E6.29.070.055.0, the E61.20.070.055.0 produces less noise at the same speed.
