igubal GERM and GELM – lightweight, robust and versatile
The igubal GERM or GELM clevis joint, manufactured using the injection moulding process, is made of the polymer igumid G, which is suitable for temperatures from -40°C to +120°C and can withstand short-term exposure up to +180°C. The clevis joint is characterised by its lightweight design and high stiffness. It is absolutely corrosion-free and can absorb high tensile forces, making it ideal for demanding applications. It can be combined with rod ends of the E dimensional series and offers additional benefits such as vibration and noise dampening. The igubal clevis joints are available for left-hand and right-hand as well as standard and fine threads.
The solid lubricants integrated into the plastic permanently replace external lubrication, whereby the maintenance-free clevis joints offer both ecological and economic benefits.
