drygear® RL-D – the maintenance-free worm gear for versatile applications

The drygear® RL-D worm gears from igus are available in various sizes and configurations, offering high flexibility for a wide range of applications. A common design feature of all variants is the integrated central bore, which allows easy routing of cables or lines and saves additional installation space. For all drygear® RL-D worm gears, perfectly matched motor kits and initiator kits are available. These enable easy integration into existing systems and significantly reduce assembly effort.

The worm wheel is made of tribologically optimized high-performance polymers and enables completely lubrication-free dry operation. As a result, the gearboxes are entirely maintenance-free, clean in operation, and particularly suitable for applications where lubricants are undesirable or not permitted. At the same time, users benefit from high efficiency and a long service life.

All sizes and configurations are available for applications with increased axial as well as radial loads. In addition, the gearboxes can be equipped with either a single-sided or double-sided output turntable, allowing flexible adaptation to different design and installation situations. Thanks to their compact design, robust polymer geometry, and corrosion-free materials, drygear® RL-D worm gears are ideal for use in demanding environments.
