The carbon fiber-reinforced 3D printing filament igumid P190 offers extreme strength and stiffness, making it ideal for stable structural components, special connection elements for energy chains, and lightweight construction. It was specifically developed as a high-strength material partner for iglidur i190 to combine high load-bearing capacity with exceptionally durable, friction-optimized properties in multi-material printing. Thanks to this combination, the material can be flexibly used for demanding, weight-saving designs.
Due to the abrasive fibers, the printer used to process the filament should be equipped with a wear-resistant (e.g., hardened) nozzle and extruder gear. The filament is highly sensitive to moisture and should be stored in a dry container and actively dried.
