The blue-colored iglidur A350 3D printing filament was developed specifically for the food and packaging industries and combines food-grade compliance (according to FDA and EU 10/2011) with extreme temperature resistance up to 180 °C. This abrasion-resistant, high-temperature material is flame-retardant (in accordance with UL94-V0 and FAA aviation specifications) and can be sterilized with hot steam. Due to its high processing temperature of 340–360 °C and a required build volume temperature of at least 160 °C, a high-temperature 3D printer is necessary for processing. The filament is highly sensitive to moisture and should be stored in a dry container and actively dried on a regular basis. iglidur A350 is also available as an injection-molding material and as a semi-finished product.
