World premiere: The first energy chain made from recycled material. Based on the igus® chainge® programme, the new E2.1.CG catalogue range was created from recycled material - all tested in the igus® laboratory.

This is how the igumid® CG material is created:
We collect the old energy chain. The material is sorted by type, cleaned and processed to virgin material quality. The E2.1.CG programme is created from the new igumid® CG material.

True unmixed recycling: how to do it

You can send us your used plastic drag and energy chains instead of simply disposing of them with other products in industrial waste. The highlight: We accept all energy chains, including those from other manufacturers. We collect the returns with the aim of maximising recycling, either in our own production facilities or by using a recycling partner who recycles the material. At our site, materials are separated by type and the material that can be used for our production is processed into regranulate. We reward your commitment with an igus® voucher, which is based on the weight of the chains sent in.
